Accommodating up to 4 guests comfortably, Touchwood Cottage has 2 bedrooms, (comprising 1 x Queen & Twin Singles), 2 x bathrooms, & 2 x Lounge areas. With original pressed metal ceilings and wooden floorboards, you will love the charm of this cottage.
Touchwood also boasts a colonial style kitchen with wood heating and a cosy lounge-sitting room furnished in the style of the era.
The residence also features a fully renovated bathroom with luxurious clawfoot bath, large walk in shower and colonial style washstand. Toilet is a separate area to the bathroom.
Touchwood Cottage is the oldest private residence in Stanley. Originally built as a farmhouse around 1840, it still maintains it’s old country charm and is conveniently located in the centre of town.

The Studio Cottage

The Studio Cottage is a fully self-contained open living space, accommodating 2 people with a Queen sized bed. Dubbed the “Honeymoon Suite”, the Studio has spectacular ocean views from each cottage window.

It features a well appointed bathroom and spacious kitchen and living areas.

The Studio Cottage was originally the building that housed a small farm dairy. Some structural walls feature the bluestone that was brought to Tasmania as ballast in ships from England in the early 1800’s.

Twin Studio

This freshly refurbished Twin Studio has 2 single beds, designed with maximum comfort in mind for a relaxing stay, and has its’ own separate bathroom and sitting room and small kitchenette, with adjoining door for family access to the main cottage or locked when requiring privacy. Recently renovated with quality, comfort and luxury in mind for the fastidious traveller.
